"Without ever being really good, I thought we were the better side but it's no good me saying after every home game how unlucky we are."

"Our home form has not been great since the turn of the year and that is something that needs to be addressed for next season because next season is going to be a lot tougher, if that's possible."

"Apart from against Charlton and Manchester City, we've struggled to score goals at home. We've had a fantastic season and we've done brilliantly but our goal difference is negative. We've had decent half chances but not put them away."

"We don't want the season to fizzle out, we still have a chance to get into Europe but we have to do better in certain areas."

Paul Jewell also revealed why Aussie goalkeeper John Filan was replaced by Mike Pollitt at half time.

He said:"He got a bang on the eye, and it closed so he couldn't come out in the second half."

"You could see the hangover in the first half, but in the second we were more like ourselves, and this was a great win for us."

"Now there's a chance of glory and we have to grasp that opportunity."

"The FA Cup is a chance to win a trophy. Sixth or seventh place in the Premiership doesn't enthral me as much as winning silverware."
