Jewell: A draw is not the result we wanted

Ryan Taylor: Broken little toe
"It's the result neither me or Kevin Blackwell wanted, but we're both in the hat and we have to play each other again. We didn't want a replay but we didn't want to go out of the F.A. Cup either.

"The first half was terrible for both sides. The game was flat and so was the atmosphere. We picked up in the second half and I thought once we scored we might have scored a couple more.

"We had the game won, but obviously with our injuries took its toll and they threw caution to the wind.We are disappointed with the goal they scored, we had a free kick a second earlier and we gave cheap possession away and they've taken it.

"We had Gary Teale at right back though, and he has never played there before, so we were under a little bit of pressure, but I thought we would have seen the game out.

"We lost our shape and gave the initiative to Leeds when I thought we were comfortable at 1-0.

It also seems that Ryan Taylor has suffered the same injury as Michael Owen did just last weekend at Tottenham. The former Tranmere full-back will have an x-ray to confirm what the physio's suspect to be a broken fifth metatarsal.

Jewell added: "I think it might be that fashionable one, that fifth metatarsal but I do not know for sure yet. It is unfortunate."
