Fulham Reaction: Hutch disappointed

"I was very disappointed in the way that we played, especially in the first half, we were second to the ball. We haven't passed the ball as well as we have done in the previous five games this season.

"We looked a little bit inept. Sometimes when things don't go your way, you have to dig deep and we did that in the second half, and we got a bit better. We were fortunate to come away with a point today. If you play like we did today, it is important you get something out of it.

"He made a couple of good saves, I would imagine Fulham will feel unfortunate not to take the three points, but we are fortunate to take just the one."

"I would have thought that was about as comprehensive as you can get without actually winning a match and ultimately we were hanging on. Last week Tottenham should have killed us off before we ever got back into the game and we got something we shouldn't have got and plenty of plaudits for it.

"This week we should have killed Wigan off. It was the most one-sided game you are ever likely to see in the Premier League, right up to the last ten minutes.

"Then a penalty pretty much out of nothing and we were hanging on and (Paul) Scharner should have scored to win the game. It just shows you should not leave early when we're involved.

"I'm disappointed. I think Chris (Hutchings) will be happier. It's difficult when you've played so well away from home, especially when you're a team which doesn't win much on the road."
