Charlton Reaction: Latics deserved more

The Latics boss saw his side lose to a late winner from Franck Moussa and admitted he felt his side deserved more.

Speaking to the club's official website he said: “In the end I felt we deserved even more than a draw. I think in midfield we had complete control, the goal was completely against the run of play but we answered very quick and in the second-half I felt they were tired, we were tired and the game opened up – I felt we could have pushed on more to try and win the game.

“They had two deflected goals and at the moment things aren’t going our way I felt we started the game well in the first 30 minutes and their goal to open the scoring came against the run of play.”

Rosler is also hoping to give the supporters a victory after almost 500 made the arduous trip to London.

“I think we have to give our supporters a win soon,” he continued. “We know what we have to do now; we have to get everybody up to speed and then I think we will be fine.”

Tuesday night sees a difficult trip to face freshly relegation Cardiff City.
