"From the first minute to the last they were better than us, they were first to every ball. I am not going to blame tiredness, that may be the case, but we should be doing better than that. They won comfortably and deservedly so.
"We have got plenty of strengths and we didn't use them today. They did to us what we normally do to other teams. They worked harder than us, got in our faces, they never let us settle and we couldn't deal with it.
"The tiredness factor might have come into it, but I still expect us to do better than that. We just didn't perform. I felt it was the worst performance at home this season. But it's a one off and I think that's all it will be.
"There's no crisis and although we are disappointed today, we are delighted with our 2005."

"I think on the basis of our performance today I think most people will agree with that.
"I thought we were in control for all of the game in all honesty, the first half we expected Wigan to test us with balls up to the front men and down the channels and we stood up to that very well and caused them problems going the other way.
"Once we got out noses in front I was more than confident that we would see the game out, certainly in the second half I though we were exceptional but if there is to be a criticism I would think it was the amount of chances we created that we didn't convert.
"If we had taken more care in those positions we could have won the game by an even greater margin."
